Community
In Matthew 5:1-12, Jesus teaches that God blesses the poor, the grieving, the humble, the merciful, the peacemakers, and those who are persecuted for doing what is right.
In Matthew 25, He reminds us that when we feed the hungry, welcome the stranger, or clothe the needy, we are serving Him. Jesus identifies with those in need, and so should His followers.
Church, many of you have shown Christ-like concern for those most affected by the recent events involving ethnic minority and immigrant neighbors and federal law enforcement.
Some of you are experiencing this personally. Please know that we see you, we care for you, and—most importantly—Jesus hears your concern.

What can i do to help?
Pray
Prayer moves the heart of God, His people, and the community—“the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective” (James 5:16). Ask God to guide you in discerning the best ways to serve and care for those in need based on what He has given you (e.g., spiritual gifts, resources, time). Consider praying along with our Lead Pastor, Ryan Alexander, over MN as well.

Volunteer Your Time
Opportunities are available through Hosanna Church and HEART as well as local partner organizations at each campus that would be blessed by additional support to help those in need during this time. Local food shelves would certainly be blessed by additional donations and volunteers; we encourage you to explore those closest to you.

Please place gift cards in any contribution box on our campuses or drop them off with staff Monday-Thursday during business hours. For questions, contact Pastors Erik Poch or Kellie Walia.
