Local Kingdom Impact

Life Sphere Ministry

Incorporating your faith into your work and daily life

  • Envision you life spheres as a natural platform to represent Jesus Christ
  • Equip you to be stronger representatives where ever you are daily
  • Commission you to impact the Kingdom through your work life & daily activities

There are thousands, maybe millions of believers today who don't know how to go about being an active Christian at work or in their neighborhood. They may get inspired on Sunday, but they're lost on how to live out their faith from Monday to Saturday.

Monthly Life Sphere Huddle

We are starting a new opportunity to connect with people in your sphere areas.

We’ll be gathering monthly for a very brief 30 minutes after the 5:00 p.m. Saturday service and the 9:00 a.m. service.

It will include : Brief talk, testimony of someone reaching out in their area, and group prayer in your specific area with a time to encourage one another

2nd weekend each month       Saturdays - 6:15 p.m.    Sundays - 10:15 a.m.

2008: Nov 8/9, Dec 13/14

2009: Jan 10/11, Feb 14/15, March 14/15, April 11/12, May 9/10

Work Life Ministry Web Site

The Hosanna! Work Life Ministry web site will provide practical ideas on how a Christian can pursue life's three vital relationships while on the job: a relationship with God, with other Christians, and with non-believers. And surprisingly, it's not as hard as we think!

Hosanna! Inner City Partners in Ministry

Outreach to Dinkytown - Taking God's love to the streets of Minneapolis!

The Hot Spot is a free coffee shop located in the heart of Dinkytown. This location is run by Director John Tolo. His heart is for these locations to be "an outpost for the kingdom of God."

Dinkytown is a culturally diverse neighborhood, intermixed with U of M students. There are opportunities to reach people from all walks of life - local and international, rich and poor, as well as educated and uneducated.

Outreach (team) options include:

  • Prayer walking
  • Socializing and assisting at the Hot Spot
  • Intercession (in the "Upper Room")
  • Interacting with people on the street, and providing blessings and prayer as the Lord leads
  • Ministry through the use of prophetic gifts (training or shadowing required)

Visit the Hot Spot web site or contact Kristi Graner for information about participating in a Hosanna! outreach team.

Midwest Challenge is seeking Christian men who are willing to help mentor and encourage others through this Christian-based ministry, as well as help at special events throughout the year. Both outreach locations are located in South Minneapolis.

Genesis House exists to help men coming out of prison find and begin a new life, through Bible study, support groups, and individual case management.

Redemption House is a residential program that provides a safe, supportive environment for men who have completed a primary care treatment facility for addictions and desire to get their lives on a productive course toward finding total and lasting freedom.
