Host a Chinese Student for 1 Week
Temporary Host Homes Needed
Hosanna! has served at the Hospitality Center for Chinese Ministry in St. Paul. Every year they help new Chinese students find a temporary place to stay in July and/or August. Would you consider being a host home? Host families are responsible to pick-up their student from the airport, provide room and board, and provide transportation to the U of M as the student looks for permanent housing. A typical stay for a student is 1 week. Host families are a vital part of introducing students to Christ.
As of July 8, the following students don't have homes yet:
July 18 - male
July 21 - male
July 24 - male
July 30 - male
August 7 - male
August 9 - females and male
August 22 - male

Hugo Tornado Relief
Hosanna! will not be organizing relief teams, as many churches in the immediate area are providing needed assistance.
If you would like to get involved, we suggest that you participate directly through the city of Hugo web site. They will be posting volunteer clean-up opportunities and donation needs. Donations can also be made through the Salvation Army.
