Hosanna! is hosting a pot luck banquet for the Hot Spot, an inner city ministry which reaches out to the University of Minnesota students, as well as the homeless and needy.
Come for an evening of music, and experience the Spirit of God. Bring a dish to share, learn more about outreach opportunities with Pastor Kristi Graner through this partnership ministry, and meet some new friends.
NOTE: Non-Perishable Food Needed! They have been feeding lots of people lately (5 nights a week.) It would be great if when you come to the party if you could bring a bag of groceries like pop, pastas, rice, cereal, snacks, tea, hot chocolate, coffee supplies, sugar, non sugar sweetening, paper products, sauces, can vegetables, tuna, peanut butter, jelly, etc. Fill up a bag of stuff that has been sitting in your cabinet. They could also take Cub Food, Rainbow, Target or other gift cards for supplies.

Perspectives gives people an opportunity to be exposed to the faith stretching challenge of world missions from the first hand experience of those God is using on the field. For many Christians, Christianity is like a puzzle spilled out on the floor. Perspectives puts it all together by showing us the box top and helps us understand how missions is at the very heart of God. Many people looking to see where they fit into God's plan find the Perspectives course to be an eye-opener. whether they are involved in their local church or helping to build God's Kingdom among the least reached. You may never read your Bible or church history the same way again!

Take I-35W north. Keep to the right on Highway 36 when I-35W splits. Take Highway 36 east to the Hamline Avenue exit. At the stop sign, take a left and then another left at the Hamline Avenue stop light. Go north on Hamline back across Highway 36. The church will be on your right hand side.
