Our goal in Children's & Family Ministries is to partner with parents to invite children into a lifelong journey of faith, leading to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This is done through a variety of age and family appropriate Bible-centered activities such as large group teaching, praise and worship, prayer, drama, storytellers, and small group experiences.

First Look - A Sunday School ministry offered to children ages 6 weeks through Pre-Kindergarten during services.
HALO (Grades K-5) - Grades K-5 (Sunday School)
Hosanna! Kid Kare - Child care that is offered during events or bible studies as determined by each Ministry area. Check your event to see if Kid Kare is offered and sign up online at www.hosannalc.org under Registrations.
Bright Beginnings - A toddler ministry offered 1 day a week during the school year.

Hosanna! Kid Kare
Hosanna! Kid Kare exists to serve families by providing a safe and caring place where children can experience God’s love while parents are participating in other on-site Hosanna! ministries.Check online under registrations to see if child care is provided for your event.
- 6 weeks through age 9
- Fee of $3.00 per hour per child.
- Online pre-registration and payment is required.
Kid Kare Wellness Policy: Any child with the following illness/symptoms is not allowed into Kid Kare. Children must be illness/symptom free for 24 hours after the last occurrence.
- Fever of 100 degrees or higher before the use of fever reducers.
- Diarrhea
- Bowel movements that have a grey or white stool.
- Runny Nose – Thick green or yellow mucus discharge.
- Vomiting.
- Sores or rashes.
- Severe/persistent coughing that interferes with a child’s activities.
- Child makes high-pitched, croupy or whooping sound/cough.
If a child has a communicable disease (pink eye, ringworm, scabies, scarlet fever, strep throat, impetigo, shingles, mononucleosis, head lice, viral or bacterial meningitis or fifth disease) two things must occur:
- Kid Kare (952-898-9131) needs to be notified immediately that your child has been diagnosed.
- Please check: www.isd194.k12.mn.us to see when your child may return to Kid Kare. Kid Kare follows the Lakeville School Districts policies for Communicable Diseases.
Bright Beginnings
Our Vision:
To create a faith based educational program where creativity is cherished and encouraged and where children fall in love with the joy of learning.
Please join us for a unique ministry that is designed with toddlers and first impressions of our loving God in mind! Our structure includes a balance between child choice activities and teacher facilitated exploration. Children will have the opportunity to enjoy some of their favorites… including art, large muscle, science, math, music and movement, dramatic play and faith foundations.
Offered: Mondays or Tuesdays or Thursdays (choose one)
Time: 9:15-11:15am
Ages: Must be at least 20 months by September 1, 2008 and not older than 35 months by September 1, 2008.
Parent Participation: Parents are expected to serve in the classroom twice per year so they may enjoy the Bright Beginnings ministry first hand. Sign up for specific days will take place in the fall during our orientation.
Class size: 12 children maximum per class
Classes are currently full for the 2008-2009 school year.

Hosanna! Preschool
We Believe...
Children are important members of our community. They need lots of love and nurturing so they will know the abundant life that God intends for all of us. Our goal is to offer a Christian-based program that will encourage cognitive, emotional, physical, social, and spiritual development in our children. By providing an open environment and using the “discovery” approach to learning, children develop a positive self-image and experience personal success.
