What is Alpha?

  • Alpha is a relaxed, safe place to ask questions and explore spirituality from a Christian perspective. Many people from different backgrounds come to this course to meet new people and learn the basics of Christianity.
  • Each session begins with lunch or dinner and includes a talk and a small group session, which gives you an opportunity to ask questions, express opinions and to discuss the topic.
  • Alpha Sprouts (Alpha curriculum) is provided free of charge to children 6 weeks of age to 9 years at this event. Registration is for planning purposes only.   To best serve you, please register your child(s) at least 24 hours prior to the start of Alpha. Walk-ins are accommodated on a space available basis. To register, go to www.hosannalc.org and click on Alpha Sprouts under "Registrations".
  • Fall 2010: Thursdays, September 23-November 18, 6:00-8:15p.m.
  • There is no charge for the course. We only request a contribution to cover the cost of meals ($4) if you would like to have a meal.
