We don’t want students to miss out on these deeply impactful weekends for both their own relationship with Christ, and relationship with their small group. We place a high value on retreats in Student Ministries. Retreats are key mile markers towards students embracing and living the faith in PowerLife and Catalyst. Most students find retreats to be a highlight of their year and choose to participate each year. Retreats provide a unique opportunity to break away from everyday routine, building relationships in the group which translates into more meaningful discussions on regular programming nights. You have already registered and paid for the retreat when you registered your student for Catalyst.

We never want finances to be an obstacle for students to attend Catalyst!
If you are unable to pay in full at this time, you can set up a payment plan, make a partial payment or receive financial assistance (see links below). PLEASE NOTE: Completion of this form is not sufficient to register your student for PowerLife. You MUST return to this page.

If you do not already have a Fellowship One online account, please create one here before registering. Thank you!

What do we teach?

We challenge students to live their faith so that God’s character becomes evident in every area of their life. Teaching will include such topics as; Jesus, The Holy Spirit, Biblical Themes, Kingdom Impact, Character of God, The Spiritual Journey, and Spiritual Disciplines.

Key Mile Markers on a student’s journey towards living the faith include; Catalyst Retreat, Impact Trips, Summer Camp, and Small Groups.

Catalyst Small Groups

Catalyst Small Groups are the heart of Catalyst and consist of 8–10 students of the same gender and two Catalyst Leaders. Small groups create a safe place for students to discuss questions about God, while encouraging each other in their daily walks with Christ. To allow for the rapid growth Youth Ministries is experiencing, when students reach 10 per group, sub-groups will be formed for small group discussion time. In this way, students can enjoy being part of their larger group but continue to invite friends and have more chance for meaningful small group discussions.

Retreats are a key strategy for students in grades 7 through 12 embracing and living the faith. When you register for PowerLife and Catalyst; the registration for an annual retreat is included. Retreats are typically a highlight for students, and a unique opportunity to unplug from their everyday routine. This helps build relationships in the small group and fosters more meaningful discussions on regular programming nights.

Can I invite friends to Catalyst?

Yes! Bring your friends! If they are interested, we will encourage them to register to be officially placed in a small group. Small groups are central to the Catalyst experience, and new students are welcome to join Catalyst throughout the year.

Student Leadership

We are passionate about providing our students with discipleship opportunities where they can come alongside younger students while growing in their own leadership ability and spiritual lives. We invite students in grades 9–12 to serve as Student Leaders in PowerLife small groups. For more information, click here or email us.

Impact Trips

Impact Trips offer a variety of experiences for students to live beyond themselves, impact and be impacted by the places they serve, and be blessed by God working through them. It is our desire that these short term trips turn into a lifelong desire to serve this world the way Christ has served us. Impact Trip information can be found here.
