The Care Connection brings hope and happiness into the lives of community members. If you need assistance, or if you wish to serve in any of the following areas, email: violetl@hosannalc.org.

AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) – Together we learn how to live life. The only prerequisite is a desire to stop drinking.

Al-Anon – Support and acceptance for people in relationships with a person or people who abuse alcohol or drugs.

Alateen – Support for teens struggling with a loved one’s drinking problem.

Anger Management – Anger and other emotions can be managed when you understand how much God loves you, no matter what, and to know you are not alone.

Care Meals – Provide a meal for families during or after hospitalization.

Care Team – Provides Christian love, assistance, and encouragement.

Career Connections – Care, encouragement, support, and prayer for those experiencing job loss or change.

Caregivers Support – Encouragement for those who care for family members, friends, or loved ones with special needs; share challenges and solutions.

Changes That Heal - A group for women to gain wisdom and understanding of their past and to ensure a healthier future.

Community Car Care – Share your God-given talents to benefit the less fortunate by helping with repairs, doing phone follow-up, cleaning cars, or helping with child care..

Community Clothes Closet – Clothing offered at no cost to those attending the Tuesday New Friends evening.

Computers for Kids – An opportunity for donated computers to be given to children of families who otherwise could not afford them.

Conquerors – Provides Christian hope and healing following abortion.

Cursillo – Three-day weekend retreat based on the fundamentals of Christianity, concentrating on the person and teachings of Jesus Christ.

Depression Support for Men – A safe place where men struggling with depression can share with other men who understand and be ministered to by God’s love.

Depression Support for Teens – Support for teens coping with depression.

DivorceCare – A special weekly seminar and support group for people who are separated or divorced.

Domestic Violence Issues – Assistance for those experiencing domestic violence, including a connection with agencies and people who can support and pray for you and your family as you overcome this crisis.

Eating in Order – Information and resources to overcome eating disorders.

ESL (English as a Second Language) – A place where non-English speaking people can learn to read, write, and speak English.

Family and Friends of Incarcerated – Support for those in our community who have a family member or friend who is incarcerated.

Food Share – Bread ministry for financially-challenged families.

Every Man's Battle For Purity – A support system which will help individuals tempted with Internet and other pornography.

From Our House to Yours – For people donating furniture items to be passed on to others in need.

Gamblers Victorious – A chance to change, a program to help overcome gambling addiction.

Grandparents Raising Grandchildren – A connection for resources, support, prayer, and fellowship for those raising their grandchildren.

GriefShare – A support group for people grieving the loss of someone close.

Handy Servants of God – Volunteers willing to help widows, elderly people, and single parents with challenging household maintenance.

Healing the Wounded Heart – Prayer support and study of the Word with other believers while seeking healing.

Hope for Health – Those who hope for a return to total health, but are focusing on having a full, rich life by using God’s gifts.

House Blessings – A home is blessed from ceiling to floor, wall to wall, including property, possessions, vehicles, pets, etc., in the name of the Lord.

Infertility – This group offers love, support, help, encouragement, and faith to couples who are trying to have a family. Includes first or second time infertility.

Job Support Mentoring – Offers an individualized needs-based approach on listening, referral, and basic one-on-one job coaching and mentoring to job seekers attending Tuesday night Community Care Connections.

Kids Count – Program for Christian mentors to help children and young adults by being a godly role model and by providing support and encouragement through various activities. All ages welcome.

Listening Friends – A willing new friend who will listen, share, and pray for an individual need such as one they also have personally experienced and overcome by God’s power and love.

Love Won Out – Love, support, information, and prayer for parents, relatives, and friends of those in homosexual lifestyles.

Marriage Mentors – Christian couples available to share God’s healing in marriage issues with which they also have dealt.

Marriage Rebuilders – Nine-week support workshop to help those experiencing marital concerns, resolve struggles, and identify next steps in their spiritual and emotional growth. Click here for more info.

MomCare – A team of volunteers who prepare and serve meals to families who just had a baby.

Moms in Touch – An interdenominational ministry of moms who meet for an hour each week to pray for their children and the schools they attend. Check out www.momsintouch.org for details.

MS – Monthly support group for those who have or know someone who has multiple sclerosis to receive spiritual support and healing.

New Friends Community Meals + – A home-cooked meal served weekly in a warm, welcoming environment on Tuesdays, 5:00–6:15 p.m.

On the Town – Occasional outings for mature adults, widows, and widowers offering new fellowship, laughter, and joy.

Out of Egypt – To provide Christian love and assistance in gaining victory over homosexual behaviors.

Overcomers – A Christian 12-step Bible Study for women providing help in overcoming alcohol, drugs, gambling, overspending, or other addictive behaviors.

Parenting Single – Support for singles who have been married to gain balance between raising children, working, paying bills, and enjoying life.

Parents for Awareness of Food Allergies – Developed to raise awareness and to offer information to the community about food allergies and to provide care and support for one another.

Parents of Children with Special Needs – A supportive community of parents with special needs children who gather to support each other and encourage growth through the sharing of experiences.

A care ministry group where people facing the cancer journey are supported and encouraged by those who have walked the path before and experienced God’s awesome healing power and love. There is an opportunity to share fears and concerns, hear personal testimonies, discover God’s Word on healing, receive prayer, and together seek God’s authority over this devastating disease that touches so many among us. This group meets the third Monday of every month from 7:00-8:30 p.m. For more information, go to www.prayforthecure.net.

Prayer and Healing Service – A monthly gathering to provide love, encouragement, information, and prayer for those in need of healing. Prayer Ministries.

Prayer for Law Enforcers – Prayer support for those in law enforcement.

Prayer Chain – Telephone and email prayer for those in immediate need.

Prayer Ministry – A group of Christians who gather to raise up the needs of the congregation and individual members/visitors in prayer. The team provides an atmosphere for spiritual growth and fellowship. The most visible part of the ministry is the staffing of the Prayer Chapel during worship services.

The mission is to serve, uplift, and reach out to senior citizens (ages 55+) in the areas of personal needs, education, and social activities, as well as to mentor and assist in other areas as led by the Lord. Someone You Love –A support group for families and friends of homosexuals. Meets the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m.

Spanish Classes – A place where non-Spanish speaking people can learn to read, write, and speak Spanish.

Teens Raising Tots – Support for teenagers raising children.

Thin Within – Information about unique spiritual-based, non-diet program to weight loss

Uniquely Made – A group designed to meet the individual, social, and spiritual needs of anyone who is developmentally or emotionally challenged.

Victory Over the Struggles of Life – A group which supports and encourages individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues.

Young Aspiring Single Moms – A group of never-married single moms growing in their Christian walk as they raise their children, share struggles and joys, love, support, and pray for one another.
